What is Energy? No one really knows for sure, but what scientists do know is that everything is made of energy. When you break anything down to its atom, what you get is pure energy. No matter what it is, everything is made of atoms, and all atoms are made of protons, electrons, and sometimes neutrons. All three of these are pure energy. Not only is everything made of the same kinds of energy, but those energies are the exact same in everything. In other words, there is no difference between a proton in hydrogen and a proton in gold. Nor is there a difference between an electron in plastic and an electron in human skin cell. We know that protons are positively charged particles of energy, electrons are negatively charged particles of energy, and neutrons are neutrally charged particles of energy. So if everything is made of the same stuff, how are different things formed? Vibration is the answer. Protons have a specific vibration or are a specific vibration, because energy is essentially a vibration. Electrons are a specific vibration that’s different from protons. What makes a different vibration is how you combine these particles. For example, one proton and one electron have a specific vibration, but two protons and one electron have a completely different vibration. One proton and two electrons have an even more different vibration, and so on. Even though neutrons are a neutral charge, they still have a vibration, and adding neutrons to the mix creates all new vibrations. The different combinations of protons, neutrons, and electrons make up the different elements in the periodic table. Furthermore, the different combinations of these elements make up everything as we know it. For example, hydrogen has one proton and one electron, whereas oxygen has 8 protons and 8 electrons. The combination of these two elements makes up water, which is composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
So what we know is that everything is made of energy, which is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. We also know that all protons are the exact same, all neutrons are the exact same, and all electrons are the exact same. There are other kinds of energy (up quarks, down quarks, gluons, anti-quarks, dark energy, and more), but we are not going to get into those this time. What else do we know? We know that energy can be crazy and predicable, and that most of the time, we have no clue what it does, how it does it, and even where it goes. Yes, it can just disappear. Scientists have observed for years that electrons can mysteriously disappear and reappear while orbiting their proton. They have no clue where these electrons go or why they do this. Particles of energy can also be in more than one place at one time. It’s not that they move from one place to another really fast, or that they are copies of one another – but rather, one particle can be in multiple places at the exact same time! There have been many experiments where particles of energy have been in multiple locations (up to 3,000 different locations recorded so far) at the exact same time before returning to just one position, a phenomenon called super position. Imagine that you are one being, but you are in two or more places at the exact same time. These are not copies of you, because a copy would be aware of only the environment that it was in. Instead, you as a being are in multiple locations at once and have a complete awareness of each location and of yourself in each location. It brings to my mind this dialogue between the main character, William, and Death from the movie Meet Joe Black. (I’m recalling it from memory so please excuse me for not quoting it exactly.)
William: Don’t you have to work? Don’t you have to be in other places and attend to other people?
Death: I am.
William: How can you if you are here?
Death: You are here but you are also thinking about work, you are thinking about your family and being with them, and you are thinking about other things. Aren’t you in more than one place at once? So now take that to the deepest depths of the universe and multiply it by infinity, and you will just begin to realize what I am talking about.
Energy can also choose to be a wave of energy or a particle. Yes, choose. Energy has a consciousness. Scientists also know that particles created together are always connected, meaning that they always react as one. What this essentially means is that they can be separated and spread all around the world, but if something is done to one particle it causes the same reaction in all particles at the exact same time. This is call entanglement. We also know that a single proton, neutron, and electron (none of which can be seen without a high-powered microscope) contain enough power to destroy an entire city as well as empower several cities. With that in mind, think about this – Our bodies are made of billions of protons, neutrons, and electron. Our bodies are made of – and contain – an unlimited supply of power.
So we know our bodies are an amazing source of power. And if all energy is a vibration, then our bodies have their own unique vibration. So let’s talk about vibrations. Think of them as a wave as in a light, radio, or sound wave (all of which are energy). We have often seen pictures of these kinds of wave frequencies. The wave travels a horizontal line while arching up and down. The distance between each arch is the wavelength, the distance between the horizontal line and the peak of the arch is the wave peak, and how fast the wave moves is the frequency. Waves also have rhythms, which is the number of peaks that flow together. Think of a heartbeat rhythm: thump thump pause thump thump is the basic rhythm. If that was a wave, it would be seen as two peaks with a very short wavelength in between, then a longer wavelength before the next set of peaks, etc. So vibrations are different based on their wavelength, peak, frequency, and rhythm. There are also different kinds of waves, but this is the easiest ones to visualize since it’s what most of us can relate to. What else is a vibration? Thoughts and emotions are energy vibrations, and like radio or light waves, they can travel a distance. Thoughts are not limited to traveling just in our heads or bodies. Have you ever been thinking of someone and shortly after, they call you? Or have you ever felt like someone was staring at you and you turned around to see it confirmed? Not only can our thoughts and emotions be projected out, but we can sense and feel them. A study was done at U.C. Berkley on touch. The researchers reported that people could identify emotions such as fear, anger, frustration, and joy more accurately through touch alone than through visually seeing facial expressions and body language. Touch is a sense that scientists feel we take for granted and don’t realize how much of it we really use. Energy can also change vibrations. Have you ever been around someone who was in a bad mood or really negative and after a while, you yourself started to feel irritated or in a bad mood? This is because a dominate vibration can influence other vibrations to start vibrating at the same frequency. Another common example that women can relate to more than men is when two or more women work or live in the same space for more than a couple of months and as a result their menstrual cycles become in sync. This is due to the menstrual cycle being a cycle of energy in the female body. Another example with something more physical is water turning from liquid to solid (ice) or to gas (steam). In any of those states, it is still made of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, yet its vibration has changed due to influence of heat or cold (both energy vibrations) changing its physical structure.
In summary, although we don’t know what energy is exactly, there is an awful lot that we do know about energy. We know that even a single particle of energy like a proton holds an incredible amount of potential energy. We know that everything is made of energy and that the energy in everything is the same. We know that energy can change from a particle to a wave and that waves can change vibrations. We know energy can disappear and reappear and be in more than one place at the same time. We know that all energy particles from the same source will always be connected even through unlimited distance and that all of those particles will react the same and at the exact same time if one gets stimulated. All of this is fact and has been proven through experiments and mathematical equations. It is not wishful thinking or science fiction. These are what we accept as scientific truths.
Now on those facts, let’s ponder some questions. If our bodies are pure energy at its simplest form, then do we not have the same potential and abilities as energy? We can change our moods (which is changing our vibration), so why can’t we change more? Can we change our physical bodies instantly just by changing our energy vibration? Can we heal our bodies with nothing but our thoughts? There are several documented reports where people actually have done this very thing. So are weight problems due to food or due to our energy vibration? Why do some people eat and eat and not gain weight whereas some people eat very little but gain a lot? Certainly the theory of calories in/calories out doesn’t apply equally to everyone. And since it doesn’t apply to everyone, it means it is not a true fact. A study was done on people in their ideal weight range. The researchers figured out how many calories each participant’s body burned daily. Those people were then put on strict diets that were 200 – 300 calories less than what they would burn each day. What the researchers discovered was that this calorie cutback can increase one’s lifespan and that the participants didn’t lose weight or become anorexic due to taking in fewer calories; instead, they maintained their weight. But knowing what we do about the theory of calories in/calories out, how can that be if the participants were burning more calories than they were eating? The researchers found that people’s bodies just used energy more efficiently or found the energy it needed from another source. Remember we have billions of energy particles in our body. Isn’t it crazy to think we couldn’t use some of that energy to live and function? There is always energy all around us and flowing through us. Maybe this is the reason for the increase in lifespan. It would make sense that if we use energy from its purist form, it would only improve our health and prolong our life. So weight gain is not based just on calorie intake per se, because in fact, our bodies can choose how to use the energy it consumes. Our bodies can choose to use all of the energy, store it, or eliminate it. Not everything we eliminate is waste. We know for a fact that in our waste are vitamins, minerals, amino acids, sugar, fats, and many other forms of nutrients and energy. So do people with a weight problem vibrate at a frequency that makes their body store the energy they eat and use energy from another source making them gain weight no matter what they eat? Are some people using their energy more efficiently and storing everything else? That would explain how someone can take in only 1500 calories, burn 2000 calories, and still gain weight.
If energy can be in more than one place at the same time, why can’t we? There are many stories and folklore of people being in more than one place at once. Maybe some or all of those are true. Quantum Physics suggest that there are several dimensions and in each dimension, there is another you. Each of us lives in several dimensions at the exact same time. Maybe we are already doing it, and if we can be in different dimensions at the same time, why can’t we be in different places in this dimension at the same time? We also know that energy that was created together is always connected. So then, aren’t we all connected? If you believe in the Big Bang theory (which is now scientific proof), then everything was created from that one big bang, and everything and all energy that were produced came from the same source. If you believe in Genesis, then God created everything from God’s own self and energy. If you believe that God created the Big Bang, then it is still from God’s energy and one source. No matter what you believe, all energy is from one source, which means everyone and everything is connected and inseparable; in essence, we are all entangled with each other. What one person does or feels affects everyone and everything at an energy level. Do on to others as you would have others do onto you: That is an incredible message with an even deeper meaning when you consider the interconnectedness of everyone. What we do onto others, we do onto ourselves through entanglement. This also means we are always connected to God, Creator, Source Energy, Divine Consciousness, Great Spirit, or whatever you believe or choose to call it. We don’t have to strive to be closer to God. We are always connected and One. We can never be separate from God, and we can never be unworthy of God. We came from the same source, and therefore cannot be anything less than anyone else or God. The entire universe and beyond is a matrix of energy all connected and woven together.
This is just the basics of energy and only a small part of what we know today. I’m very sure that soon we will know and understand a lot more and discover that is goes even deep than we ever imagined. Most of this idea is not actually new to humans here on earth, as many cultures have known these concepts for centuries. We are now just able to prove them with modern science and begin our understanding of the mechanics of how these concepts work. That is the only thing that is really new. You might have seen some of these concepts in mainstream movies. E.T. was able to heal through his heart chakra (heart light). E.T. and Elliott were also entangled and were able to feel what the other was experiencing. The movies I like that all reference these energy concepts include Phenomenon, Powder, The Secret, What the Bleep Do We Know, and yes, of course all of the Star Wars movies and even The Matrix series. Do you think George Lucas completely made up the force? He only took concepts that already existed and gave them different names, but the idea is the same and so are the possibilities. If you want to learn about energy and the possibilities in an entertaining way, then watch these movies, look for the energy connections, and think about an unlimited universe and possibilities.
